OK, what's cam & a decent hydrualic lifter package for a 440 these days? Motor will be used for tooling around no racing what's the hot set up?

something similar to the old 484 mp cam , but id go with a "modern" grind ... Comp cams has some good ones

The Summit cam works.Ran them and 1 is still going strong after 30 years.There are better cams but for the price they cant be beat.Ive ran all their Mopar cams.Rocky

i thought about the summit cam for budget reasons, but went with a Comp XE268...if the motor's not going to be mostly stock, i think it's probably one of the best cams you could get.

If you want something 1/2 a step up from the 268 but not as much cam as the 274/275HL Lunati's 60303 voodoo is a nice middle ground between the two.

that's the other one, but wasn't sure i'd have enough stall to run it and really didn't want to get into that

I just went with a 270H Comp Cam in my Jensen, but the XE268 looks good IMO too...
