I was going to try it but never got around to it, I was going to put a micro switch on my shifter so it would activate in high gear only then go to a rpm chip to engage it at that rpm to a retard box, but never got to it yet.... I only have a 7 AL-2 box unlike the fancy digital boxes

It doesn't make more power. The spark setting in high remains what it should be - but it allows more advance in the lower gears which may improve your 60.
