Would a 750 watt power inverter be enough to power a battery charger. I'v been thinking about buying a small generator to charge between runs, but was wondering if a power inverter on the tow vehicle would be enough?

It would have to be a really small charger, but you
might get away with a 1000 watt.... you would have
to check the draw on the charger you want to use

Yes, 100 watts is about 1 amp.

Kind of weird, start with 12V turn it into 120V and then back to 12V.

Never tried it, but I think it will work.

A 12V charger with a maximum 4 amp output, even with only a 70% efficiency and a 70% pf, will be well below 150W.

I called one of the bigger power inverter company's and asked a tech the same question. I wanted to put one in the race car trailer and power some lights and possibly charge the race cars battery. He said it would take a large bank of batteries. I did put a 1000 watt in the trailer to run the lights, practice tree, fan, and a few other things. Its nice not having to start the generator every time you need power.
