Anonymous OP Unregistered A	I am in the middle of installing the roll cage in my 69 coronet and before I go any further I would like some opinions on wether this section I have done would pass a tech inspection. I posted some pics of the section and any thoughts would be very helpful. Thanks, Robert.

68valiant68 enthusiast Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 240 Y-town ohio	do you have any chassis shops around you? if so, have someone custom bend the front bars. make it 3 pcs one one on each side, one in the middle at the roofline by windshield to tie it in. cutting and welding so close to a rollover point, I wouldnt do it.

I wouldn't have cut them off because I weakens it too much. A small bend would have got them headed back to the hoop. Harbor Freight sells cheapie tubing benders FYI.

I would do this before ordering anything as you might have to chuck it too. Just my

68valiant68 enthusiast Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 240 Y-town ohio	check chris alstons chassisworks for cage. they seem to have a nicer setup. just remember, car can be replaced, you cant. so build as safe as possible. my cage will cert to 8.50 or slower and i run 10.50's. but i am safe.
