in my 71 satellite, whoever did the swap used the saginaw ps pump and even the hoses. it had headers when i got it and has headers now, but for awhile, i ran late non-HP manifolds. they were even able to use the stock HD radiator by using a late passenger outlet wp housing (no a/c on 440)

Ok,the motor and tranny came out of a 72 newport, is the tranny going to match up ???
Yes! Get as much as you can from the car. The motor mounts will work, the radiator will work (grind a little off of one side to clear the frame), shorten the driveshaft, etc.
That's the best way to do a swap into an E or B body. Find a good C donor and your 99% there!
