Anybody use this? Do you like it? How long are the square tubing that goes to the bumper mounts?

Thanks!

Presumably, USCT is answering their phone or email, or has the dimensions on their website, but that may not be the case.
Cab, that's to lift the front of the car using an engine hoist:
Top bar is hooked to the hoist as a crossbar, lower bars mount to frame rail bumper bracket holes & slide into top bar.
I would think USCT is smart enough that it fits any unibody Mopar; note various attachment holes.

Some guys make their own, and it's a common method if one lacks a lift.

I used some 1/4" thick angle iron. 1/8" thick angle was more than adequate for lifting the car by itself. It showed some flexing when lifting the front end with the engine/trans installed though, so I upgraded to the 1/4".

I built mine from square tubing also . . . my welding skills got better after building this (ha ha ha), but it held up fine. Made it with the dolly wheels so I could roll it around on the cradle, then when going to put in engine/trans, just turned it 90 deg to lift car.

3/16x2 or 1/4x2 angle will work fine.
as to the length needed for the bumper mounting points, just go about 1 1/2" past the rear most bumper mount bolt center point and that will work.

I did the same thing...

3 pieces of angle with holes drilled in them. simple and inexpensive solution that works on A/B/E cars.

Yes, they can be made out of wood, not my preferred method.

When my brother put his engine in, he just used the car's bumper brackets along with a 2x4 crossbar bolted to them. The bumper brackets lifted the car while the 2x4 was just to keep the loops of chain from potentially slipping off. Worked just fine.

i agree about those welds as well.............
any time i weld two flat pieces of material together, one on top of the other, i also drill a couple of holes and plug weld them. just as a safety catch if something happens.
