10.01 @ 133mph with a 250 shot of nitrous an a splash of race gas. 1.36 60 ft. 3,700 lbs.

IMO there are FAR worse places than YB...Stuff has happened there in the past but IMO its the exception not the rule, but it is also not a single event. AS for taking your son, well thats a parents call. If he knows how to carry himself he will be ok. Just have some situational awareness. Stiff rarely happens with no warning signs.....My last time there was last year.  There are some I leave when the sun goes down. The whole atmosphere changes when it gets dark. No, I don't take my kids there. I go occasionally b/c the track prep is really good and it's open year round. The starter at one track near here caught a stray bullet a while back.  Seeing those videos from YelloBelly everyone is all shocked about is nothing out of the ordinary. Obviously not all tracks are like that.
