Rik Smits was featured in Mopar Action in the late 90s and I’m pretty sure that green car was in there. He had a custom 72 road runner with the seat moved back as well.

I want my fair share

Rik Smits showed up at Woodley Park here in California one time years ago in a Lime Superbird, don't recall the engine, it was funny seeing a guy about as tall as the wing.

I met him at the Nats same year he bought the Hemi RT. I talked to him a few minutes .

He was standing next to it with his arm resting on the roof, and he was NOT leaning down to do it.

This the F8 car btw

I sold him a repop nose jack for a Superbird at the nats in Indy. He climbed out of a Neon! My buddy pissed him off when he asked if he was a baseball player! laugh2

I think this was at the Nats in Indy, anyway here are the two together.

The resto started: Nov 2004, now its 2024 and its 95% finished. I can't believe it is the same car I started with.

Sounds like a great car, do you recall if it had a Ramcharger hood ?

Not 100% certain, but believe it was not a Ramcharger car.

I know it would be a lopsided trade. And the owner would probably laugh at me .
But thats one car I would try to work out some kind of trade my car for in a heartbeat

There's an early built 1970 440-6 RoadRunner convert 4 spd dana in upstate NY that is off the radar I believe.
It has a period dated 1970 440-6 motor and 4 speed and original 4:10 dana still present in car.
Has fender tag, no sheet , but original window sticker was found in owners manual in glove box
The owner contacted GG some years ago regarding the car,
telling him he has the original window sticker with all the codes and their description but no prices for the options in that column.
GG told him that because of the early build those prices had likely not been finalized yet.
It is an F4 car , new white interior and new white top ready to be installed,.. car currently in primer .

Joe sold the fj5 R/T back in 2010 before he got in trouble.
After he sold the FJ5 R/T I bought the FC7 70 Hemi bee of him in 2010.

No idea if it's still there or even if it's what I was told but a little over 20 yrs. ago I spotted a '70 Coronet 'vert under a tarp in a side yard.Tarp was in sad shape and falling through the top frame. Taillights were visible through the tarp also. Mentioned it to a friend who lived close to it and was told it was a 440-6, 4 spd. R/T and could not be bought for any price. IIRC, it was either V2 or K2. I've always wanted to go back through there but never have.
EDIT: This was just south of Jackson, GA if this car rings a bell with anyone.

You never know. You might just go back and the timing may be right to buy the car. It's happened to me before. If it is a 440-6 convert, especially in a great color, it could be a home run!
