Rik Smits was featured in Mopar Action in the late 90s and I’m pretty sure that green car was in there. He had a custom 72 road runner with the seat moved back as well.
I want my fair share

Rik Smits showed up at Woodley Park here in California one time years ago in a Lime Superbird, don't recall the engine, it was funny seeing a guy about as tall as the wing.

I think this was at the Nats in Indy, anyway here are the two together.
1971 Superbee 440-6 auto dana airgrabber The resto started: Nov 2004, now its 2024 and its 95% finished. I can't believe it is the same car I started with. 1964 Corvette coupe...always gets more attention than the Bee from the general public.

At one time, there was a black four speed V code convertible RT in the Westchester/Putnam County NY area. Was an ordered car. It was for sale and came with NOS quarter panels (!) and other good parts. Was late 1980s/early 1990s. Never seen again since. Sounds like a great car, do you recall if it had a Ramcharger hood ? Not 100% certain, but believe it was not a Ramcharger car.

I think this was at the Nats in Indy, anyway here are the two together. I know it would be a lopsided trade. And the owner would probably laugh at me . But thats one car I would try to work out some kind of trade my car for in a heartbeat

i think it was sold to joe stentella on staten island... n he did get in trouble... but it wasn't for taxes...
Joe sold the fj5 R/T back in 2010 before he got in trouble. After he sold the FJ5 R/T I bought the FC7 70 Hemi bee of him in 2010. Carsten

No idea if it's still there or even if it's what I was told but a little over 20 yrs. ago I spotted a '70 Coronet 'vert under a tarp in a side yard.Tarp was in sad shape and falling through the top frame. Taillights were visible through the tarp also. Mentioned it to a friend who lived close to it and was told it was a 440-6, 4 spd. R/T and could not be bought for any price. IIRC, it was either V2 or K2. I've always wanted to go back through there but never have. EDIT: This was just south of Jackson, GA if this car rings a bell with anyone.

You might just go back and the timing may be right to buy the car. It's happened to me before. If it is a 440-6 convert, especially in a great color, it could be a home run!
