340 application. Any appreciable difference between the two, besides where they're made ?
Obviously Speedmaster's cheaper, and apparently a knock-off of the Edelbrock.
Curious about casting finish, power, and fit.
Allegedly, either will fit under a stock '67-'76 A body hood, likely needing a drop-base air cleaner.

I wouldn’t pick the Speedmaster intake for a 340. I ported one and sold it and I’m about positive it’s more like a copy of the LD4B intake as it had small runners. They should have copied the LD340

Thanks - good to know about the runners.
Engine's a pretty basic street/strip deal that's likely to get better heads than the iron Js on it now.
Likely to get a bigger cam than the current "Comp 280-degree" (that's all I know so far) it has now, too.

There is an LD340 on Abodies for sale.

Here’s some testing I did years ago.
