Where can I find some fiberglass doors for a 68' Valiant two door?

I looked when we painted my car and noone made a door with the frame and !I HAD TO HAVE! that 'production' look. I did buy 'glass doors from a local buddy but they needed so much finesse to look 'real' I reasoned it wasn't fair to burn-up my buddy/painters time. I estimated the 2 doors would loose about 85lbs over the gutted and lexan stockers. My 8.50cert car with the cage being moly was 2530ish without me. One seat, no chute, !MILD STEEL 2x3! steel floor below driver, 4 link with ARB moly 25.2 tubes in floor, Dana, '440' with 2 4150's, 52lbs 12v battery alternator, rack and C/O front, double beadlock rears. Basically I feel if i tried doing it all over with ladder-bar and round tube back-half and stock floor 8.50 cert and smarter tube routing, I could loose another 60lbs or using only critical tubing. I can loose more than 50 in a smarter electrical system. Look for my build-share thread on this site in, I think, the projects area. you'll see the things i did in detail.

On another site you mentioned a target weight so, I'm just offering where you can get pretty light without all the troubles of 'glass doors. Also, anyone 'fast' I know sinks the front edge of the door below the front fenders so they don't blow-off! Also I would run one of those window latches that's snapped externally by a crewmember...if you must use 'glass doors. All these deterring words and you'll probably see my monkey-az put the doors i have on the car next year, but i sure-as-heck WON'T skip a meal lol.

My Valiant was gone through looking for all the weight they could get out. It has steel fenders and doors because they decided they weren't going to lose enough weight to justify the expense.

I have some extra valiant doors I was wondering if I could take the window channels off of them and attach them to the fiberglass doors that are available. not trying to Be super fast just about 5.85 In the eighth of them all so I can run the 6.0 class and a lighter car reacts quicker as well.

A buddy of mine used aluminum extrusion to recreate the upper window frame for his '65 AWB restoration.
IIRC, the extrusion even has a short lip on the outside, similar to the stock metal frames, in addition to being a channel.
He made them many years ago, but maybe got the material from McMaster-Carr.
Could be that Jim Kramer would know a source.
