She had a hard fall back on Dec 3rd. While she did not break anything, other issues came about, but this was not the outcome we expected. She was 79. Part of the reason I sold my wagon was to focus on her as I became her caregiver. My time with her as such was too short. Pic is from 2019 when I took her up to Budweiser's Warm Springs Ranch to see the Clydesdales. We were supposed to go back, but Covid and other issues prevented it from happening. *sigh*

Very sorry to hear - I offer my condolences. RIP to your Mom.
I lost my Mom April 11th, 2020. I think about my parents every day many times - my oldest brother too. I keep telling myself that everybody goes through this - it helps.

I am sorry for your loss.
It is easy to underestimate all the emotional issues, especially finding âgood homesâ for the items your mother felt special about and your gut will tell you she would be unhappy about not going to a friend or relative.
Do not beat yourself up about not being perfect at sorting out every thing. Yes, its the personal items I'm really (already) struggling with. For me, what's making it difficult too is that I moved in with her, so this is where I live now. Not having a place of my own, I have no way to give myself some distance from the emotions I'm feeling. I hardly slept last night. Thank you everybody for the kind words.
