Is the disconnect the white thing on the battery positive cable in the pictures?
How about a welding supply store for connections or a high current screw crimp splice for high voltage?
Yes the white quick connect on your pictures is what I am talking about.
I have found a suitable replacement, but it requires modification to the original wiring. I am trying to find out if whatever this style of OEM connector is, if it is available to use on the replacement cables which no longer have it.
Besides being a pain, and a bit costly if you do not have the ability to solder your own connectors in place on the vehicle, whats going to happen when someone with those fancy show cars pulls in to the show and is docked points for unoriginal connectors on the battery wiring (this will never be a problem for me, but some of those guys go nuts with correct overspray patterns on suspension parts, a non-OEM style battery connector might set them over the edge). If the connector is available in a kit form somewhere it would be much easier to install just one, vs cutting the original off the car and adding something different.
I'm planing to use single pole Anderson connectors, but would much rather use an OEM connector if they are available.
