Cranes ductile adj rockers have been an excellent low cost adjustable rocker arm for decades. (Adjuster bolt issue aside) Isky had some nice ones as well but theirs were much more expensive- the Cranes were/are around $200. Will anyone step up and continue to make them?

Contact RAS for a set of bushed rockers with shafts, much nicer than the crane irons.

I have rune them in the past. I have no plan to run any currently. What is nice about them is their strength- ductile iron- they are tried and true and were affordable. My brother built a 512 with a roller cam .244ish @ .050 and he was gonna buy some rollers arms. I had a set of barely used Cranes I gave to him and 3 years later they have not missed a beat. (no broken adj either) You gotta admit, when the irons are used in their proper application they offer better bang for the buck over the higher priced 1.5 ratio American made roller rockers.

The Isky's were well worth the money compared to the Crane's.

Unless someone buys the tooling from Crane then they are gone. Isky stopped making rocker arms a long time ago which was too bad. I always thought the Isky nodular rocker arms were the best. Chrysler stopped making the MW rocker arms a really long time ago which was also too bad. Erson dropped their nodular rocker arms a few years ago and now Crane is out of business.

I had a chance to buy the Erson mfg equipment at a very inexpensive price but I just didn't want to get into that business. If I had known that Crane was going broke maybe I would've done it.

On the same note who currently makes the stamped steel rocker arms for LA, B and RB mopars?

Yeah, Erson was willing to sell all the inventory plus the mfg equipment for less than $10K. Probably should've done it but I just didn't have the space to take it on.

I was gonna say the next option if the irons are gone are the Gold Race rockers at around $300....But they were made by Crane as well!

Heard Comp might be picking up some of Crane's stuff?

The thing is there are adj roller tip rockers for $200 and less with alot of negative quality testament to go with. The Crane irons were known to be durable and many prefer the iron over aluminum for a mild solid flat or mild roller. It would be a nice lineup addittion to Comp or any other legit cam maker out there.

I'd rather see Isky bring back the good ones...

I run a set of almost 30 year old Crane ductiles with zero problems....I even use the orig flat tip screwdriver adjusters too. I hate to see them go...as the next cheapest rocker that is still available that I would even consider running is in the $500+ range. There just doesn't appear to be anything quality in between....
