The P5153843 casting is typically capable of well over 4.500 unless you're working with some kind of reject someone snuck home after hours or whatnot.
(This never, ever happens and never in my life have I heard of anyone doing such a thing LOL).
P5153843 was the common Dalton Foundry Iron Casting, machined for both wedge and hemi applications starting in about 2008.
Look for "DF" (with a backwards "D") foundry mark on the block to show it came from Dalton.
4.600+ is usually possible....it doesn't leave much to support a head gasket but can usually be done.
There were a few issues with those, but cylinder thickness was never one of them during my time there until 2013.
During my time, the ones that were sold with 4.500 bore were tested to ensure they would support it.
In practice, many did not trust our machine shop and insisted they personally machine the block.
None of the shops who started with a smaller bore and punched it out themselves ever complained about wall thickness.
(They complained about other things).
Always test the actual part you are going to use, to be sure.
