Inspected my ladder bars yesterday on the Valiant. Mine have a short adjustable link between the lower housing bracket eye and the bottom bar. I am guessing it is for setting pinion angle?

Thanks! wave

Front moves the IC, the bottom at the housing is for adding or removing preload.

Which does the same as ‘pinion’ angle..IF adjusted the same on both sides.

Set pinion angle with driver's side (left). Set preload with passenger side. (Right).

Thanks for all the replies. I made sure to put everything back the way it was.
