Looking for info on Blower/Screw/Roots style Superchargers for Small-Blocks.

I know they have been done. I've seen a few Here & there.

I just can't find a company that still carries the parts to for them. Especially the intake side.

Any Help or Guidance would be appreciated.

Intakes are available, just not cheap.
BDS sells them, for example. Also an Australian guy casts his own.
Best plan is to buy a used one for about half of the ridiculous price BDS, INDY, etc charge.
Drive is also a little problematic - meaning you can get it from the various blower shops, but they don't float around in the used market so much.

Good luck,
Ran

"Hey mister, something's wrong with your car, it idles roughly" - number one comment I got in Israel when daily driving a 70 Barracuda with a lopey cam.

Currently working on - 1966 Dodge A100 van 318/auto
Finally - disc brakes on the front.
In the plans - rear disc brakes, B&M 250 blower

I just saw a new small block blower intake recently on ebay. It was priced pretty cheap. Don`t know if it sold or not. Mike

I'm going to make a manifold for my 8-71 using a
tunnel ram lower then weld a mounting plate to it

Depends on quick you want to go. I have an old Dyers set-up. It's a 6-V71 mounted on a modified 4 barrel intake. motor is a 340+.030",245@.050" cam, ported stock heads,7.8-1 compression. With a 9" converter,4.30 gear, drag radials. 11.17@121 thru the mufflers in a 3850lb Volare. The blower is loose and worn beyond clearance specs. I run it 9% over at 12 lbs boost.

Better than almost all the commercial manifolds, too.

The centrifugal superchargers are a lot easier to find and install than the bigger ones that mount onto the intake manifolds, sneekier too

Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

Around how much hp can you go on a 59* block with a blower before it gets scary?
