Call these people and ask for the restoration shop. Tell them you are after suede paint and what color. Aint cheap but it is the correct stuff. https://tcpglobal.com/pages/restoration-shop

If you can find a paint supplier that still sells lacquer then they can mix it from the code in the FSM. Last I checked: not the paint that'a the problem, but the Suede additive used. Anyone know what component was added to give that finish? Had used a PPG black textured lacquer 1 time. Suede was like a very fine sandy particle was added to the paint..

Anyone know what component was added to give that finish? As a matter of fact I do ... and its sold on Amazon. However, finding or buying it isn't the problem. First you need to know which shade to use - flat, satin, semi gloss, etc. THEN you need to know how much of the additive to use. I'll find the stuff and post here shortly. Well I just did a search and now I can't find it. Give me a day or so - I'm probably not using the same search words I did last time.

What's not cheap? I have a 1/2 pint or so of non thinned black suede left over form my Charger that I did years ago. If I remember correctly that would = a quart mixed which should be more than enough to do a dash and column. Doubt I'll ever have a need for it I don't remember if I ordered a pint or quart but it was $215 some years ago but it covered 2 dashes and 1 steering column in black

Photos of the TCP Global suede dash paint in 69 Black & 69 Tan on recent dashes I restored. Very nice...I highly recommend them.

^^^ That looks legit, especially the one on the right (likely because of less camera flash).
The dash pads are intriguing - seem to differ from each other; I'm not bustin' your stones, just curious... Dash pads are the same....tan one had to be dyed as it was made in black vinyl. The black one is as made....no dye.
