Does anyone have a Trend Performance pushrod length checker I could buy? They have been on back order for a few months and I'd like to get this car back together.
Their part # TC8898C which is 8.8"-9.8" and a 5/16 cup.

Thanks !

I used the one from 440 Source
then you need a 10" dial Caliper that you can use to measure the length. I ordered that off amazon. Worked out OK for me, took all my measurements, then called trend and they had my pushrods made and delivered within the week.

I have both Jesel kits, a comp and a Smith Brothers.

The Smith Bros kit is cool beacuse the tool is 5/16. The rest I have used (jegs, summit etc) are 3/8" which is good for a race engine but not needed for a mild HFT in a streeter.

As an example, the Stealth heads require clearancing for 3/8 push rods. If you were to run a 5/16 PR you would have to clearance the head just for the tool.

I can post pics of the seta I have if that helps

Yea, I'll be using the 5/16 pushrods due to the sidewinder heads will not open up far enough to accept 3/8

I'm heading home. We can use mine on Sunday. If mine won't work will be a good excuse to finally get the lathe wired up again.

And you ain't doing it without me since I have your heads! LOL!
