I have both Jesel kits, a comp and a Smith Brothers.
The Smith Bros kit is cool beacuse the tool is 5/16. The rest I have used (jegs, summit etc) are 3/8" which is good for a race engine but not needed for a mild HFT in a streeter.
As an example, the Stealth heads require clearancing for 3/8 push rods. If you were to run a 5/16 PR you would have to clearance the head just for the tool.

I'm heading home. We can use mine on Sunday. If mine won't work will be a good excuse to finally get the lathe wired up again.
