I saw some spelling errors in my last post and found the edit button missing.

I can reply to it but I can not edit my own posts.

I can here but not there.

I this normal or did I miss something?

Just be happy that you can spell correctly. Most folks on this board are 'challenged' in that area. twocents

There is a time limit on editing posts in that forum, you've got to be quack (on purpose, for fun) about it.

Once something is posted on the unmoderated board, you have maybe 2 minutes to correct it before its written in stone, and that would include the time it takes to make a correction. If you wrote something there, you better read it as soon as its posted so you might be able to correct it. If there are a few things that need to be corrected, you might be better off deleting it and writing it again, or attempt a few runs at the small open window of the correction time. Edit, make a couple quick corrections, post it, then edit it again. I know you can do that at least 2 times if your quick enough. Each posting resets the time frame. I have have had it time out while I was making corrections, in which case, its there for eternity as originally posted.

Ahh That makes sense.

I am old school and want to spell correctly so if I see an error I like to change them.

I guess I will have to be more careful on the few posts I make there. up

You have a few minutes to fix it. Then you own it.

It's like a text message. You better be sure of what it says and who will see it before you hit send.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

But then there can't be any dirty deletes and people have to own their statements. That just doesn't seem fair...

I want to personally commend you for respecting yourself and the language enough to get it right.
