I currently have a set of Comp EDM lifters and was wanting to confirm that I could use them for push rod oiling. I would like to use a ball on ball push rod and cup adjusters to help a little with kick out on my Crane Gold rocker arms. The Cranes to oil properly force quite a bit of distance between the rocker and pushrod. On my current engine I lose over .030 of lift due to the pushrod kicking out at a full lift.

What are the other options to gain pushrod oiling?

Whether you can use them for pushrod oiling will depend on whether or not there is an oil hole in the pushrod cup in the lifter.

AMC lifters use pushrod oiling

You have to have lifters that are made for pushrod oiling, have you thought about using a set of spray bar valve covers?
If not that may be your best option for oiling the top end full time

A problem with mounting a SBM cam on a set of v blocks is that all 5 of the cam journals are a different diameter.
The cam should be mounted on centers if you’re going to measure lobe taper by running an indicator across the lobe(referring to the other thread).

SF edm lifters for a Mopar are AMC lifters....... so they are configured for PR oiling.

If you want to use PR oiling exclusively, you need to use rockers that are PR oiling compatible.
Many(including Cranes) are not.

I have an extra set of normal Comp solid lifters, they do have a hole in the cup where the pushrod sits but I didn't know how it would gain oil pressure since the sides of the lifter are solid with no cut out or hole (like the EDM lifters)

A hole in the lifter cup does not guarantee that they support pushrod oiling. I think most lifters I've seen have that hole. That is probably a common part for all lifters, oil-through and not. The lifter body needs to have orifices in the reduced diameter band that will connect to the hole in the lifter seat cup to provide oiling.
