Doesn't the heat wrap lead to rust on mild steel pipes?
I'm a fan of header coating now for running cooler under the hood and not burning myself when working on the motor at the races work

Cab, I only had to patch a couple holes in the headers I have run since 1997. Actually cracks where welding was thin. But I wanted to upgrade to a header matched to the new combo. The long life might be because I run alky with fuel lube. Exhaust ports are coated with the lube and carbon buildup.
