I've always tried for .010-.015" clearance per pair; YMMV

I was running some where around 0.015” to 0.025”, but some rockers showed some “scuffling” on the sides. With 0.020” to .030” so far so good drive

My Jesel intakes are at . 006 cold. I run washers against the rocker body, positioned by the mounting bar.
I had jesel polish those rockers for this setup.

.030 on Harland Sharps. I can't recall but I think that was their recommendatio on the sheet that comes with the rockers. Whether its .020 or .030 isn't goint to make any difference. The important thing is that they're not tight once they warm up and that the pushrods don't rub anywhere. A little side to side isn't going to matter to the valve or the rocker. Hell, the clearance on stockers can be measured with a yardstick !! What is important to me is having a washer on either side of every rocker so there is no wear point.
