My single line has seen better days.Just need a new hose. Drips slightly from between base of hose and bolt where it attaches to pan bulkhead. Jegs and Summit want to sell whole single line kit ($500 +)and will ship 6-30-22. Any alternatives ? Anyone have a local shop make up one that will work? Milodon want's $150 for a new one.

Mike,

Will either of those work? Both are used, not 100% perfect looking, but they don’t leak.

Shorter one is about 21” fitting end to end, and longer one is 24” fitting end to end. They’re both just extras laying around.

Wes, not sure if the 90 deg fittings would work or not. I am currently using the one supplied by Milodon kit which is straight. I will look and measure and get back to you.
Thanks Mike

use Google to see if you have a Parker hose supply store near you. You can walk in with your old hose and they will duplicate it while you wait.

Years ago I made on up with braided Teflon liner (brake one stuff) 100 times better than the deteriorating rubber of today.

Is the leak/drip coming from the hose end or the bulkhead fitting?

If the hose is shot and you don't mind using industrial grade materials, then give Hoseandfittings.com a try for a replacement.

The assembly description you want is: 12R14-TB-12FJX-12FJX-18 and the cost should be in the mid $50's for the PTFE hose assembly.

The pan pickup hose is not under pump pressure. Like the guy said up the thread: Buy the AN hose and correct push loc fittings from Summit or Jegs and make the hose. Match the length from the one leaking now. It ain't that hard to do?

Thank You for all the reply's.It is the hose not the bulkhead. I found a local place that will make them up for you. I will also check out Summit. Thank's Wes but I think the straight line will work easier.

Make sure and get Teflon lined AN hose, not rubber or neoprene tsk
Are you using the Milidon single line steel pickup? If so is it mounted on the driver side of the oil pan or on the rear of the stock Mopar sump?

The crimp fittings the industrial hose supply places use are not the correct inside taper to mate with AN fittings. You do not want to go that route.

A few years ago I had what you need - couldn't give the damn thing away !!

So are you saying that a place like Parker will not be able to make a hose for me that will work?
Thanks Mike

Don't use regular braided line. It will suck closed and starve the motor for oil

Just tell them it is a 37 degree AN fitting and not a 45 degree plumbing fitting.
They ought to be able to hook you up.

You can use standard braided hose or even the black nylonhose. IF you run a spring in the line. They sel the springs in all sizes aint rocket science. I have run black lite nylon hose with a spring on pickups for external and dry sumps for YEARS.
