I did the Mainline kit but it was for the 4150 carb. I wanted the basics and that's what this kit provides. We've used all the jetting from 100 to 250 and it's dead on! Very happy with it.
I would recommend something like the Leash electronics single stage board to compliment it. It makes wiring super easy and comes with relays, etc. Very reasonably priced as well.

GY3, thank you sir, I am glad to hear this. Frills cost money,. Sure sounds like this system is just what I am looking for. Anything more and I may just drive thru the convertor. Thank you again! Bill A couple of extras you might want to add. We have a bottle heater powered by a DeWalt battery in the trunk. Mainly to just maintain pressure and not draw on the main battery. Personally, I like using an infrared temp gun to monitor the bottle temp as I find it a little easier and more accurate than a gauge. Coldfusion makes a budget bottle heater with a pressure switch that is adjustable. You can really go down a rabbit hole buying accessories for nitrous.

If you are a Milwaukee M18 type of fellow PM me. We sell a base and everything you need for an automatic bottle heater. The transducer we use holds pressure within 25-50 psi.
For the controller I suggest the NOS mini progressive because it has a window switch, delay, and can monitor you bottle pressure through the handheld for about $200 extra. The NOS mini progressive is just over $200.

I'd like leave on a 200 and ramp it to 300 eventually. Need mo tire and a Dana!
The window switch and bottle pressure read out seal the deal for me. It's a must have IMO.
What you need is a 4 speed!
Do you apray it off the line on an unprepped surface?

Do you apray it off the line on an unprepped surface? I don't race any unprepped or "street" events anymore (a '63 Dodge isn't as plentiful and expendable as a Fox body) and rarely use nitrous on the street now with it on the 250 shot tune-up. We did do a hard tire race last year and I reduced the shot to 150 as I recall. Got out a little ways, got over eager and hit the button. Tires erupted and it was a pedal fest. Almost caught him at the line but lost by a bunper. LOL. The hard tire is like driving on ice with the torque this thing makes naturally aspirated. I did some changes over the winter to get some more power n/a, but also eyeing a plate and solenoid change...

As for index racing, we tried the 6.50 index a couple of years back after a friend talked us into it. With a 200 shot the car ran a 6.52 earlier in the night. Figured close enough. This was before the bottle heater so I figured any temp change would be offset by bottle temp/pressure dropping a little. I left late and ran a 6.489. Ugh! Fastest the car had ever been with a 1.37 60 ft. footbraking, LOL! Lots of fun and learned a lot that night about what the car wanted. We're the first pair in the video. https://youtu.be/vbXjkCLaNz8

I find it humorous that 200+ hp nitrous shot is considered conservative.
The jug is rowdy lol. Looking forward to seei g you meet your goals mr Bill!
