I'll be trying it out in a couple of weeks. I've been there 3 times since they re-opened, spectating, and have seen some fast passes although, the track does go away. They're learning and getting some new equipment. I wish them all the success possible. I went to the no prep event New Years eve. That was a wild one. Not my cup of tea though.

Yep, those Tesla Plaids are FAST. A friend has one...he relates it to driving a really fast golf cart, lol. He also has 2 REAL fast mustangs, but has been playing w/ the Tesla all the time lately. runaway

Brad give me some advanced notice I'll buy a plane ticket and come smile We did not get a chance to meet in person when I lived there, life gets in the way as they say.

Funny you guys mentioned The MoPig smoke My oldest son, Derek, went to the track w/ me on Saturday. On the drive back, I told him I was very happy w/ how the 1320 ran, but it only took the first pass for me to remember how much faster the old car was / will be. Waiting for the cold weather to let up long enough to get back to work on it 'cuz a cramped unheated garage sucks.

Herb - I still owe you a track lunch for the line-lock button you freebie'd me

Al - Yeah, I dropped the ball on making connections w/ you while you were back here

No worries just get your car running to go down the track.
I have spare trailer now, just sitting that you can use. Nothing special just got to make sure your car fits.

That's an extremely generous offer, but I don't have a truck that can pull a trailer. bow Part of my old car's legacy(?) is that it's always been driven to the track... although it did come home on a rollback once when I done blowed up the engine real good at MIR about 25 years ago. whistling

How about Mopar day at Mason/Dixon on May 1. That could be a goal. Everyone needs a goal.
It could be the grand unveiling of the new refurbed faster MoPig to the masses.

Too bad you aren't local. I've had open space in my shop most of the winter. You could be out there wrenching. Or just laying on the heated floors taking a nap!

I came up up with an idea.
Andy could fly out with Al the last week of April and meet Brad....with all their knowledge and experience they would get Mopig running 8s laugh
Weather is actually nice here that time of year.

Brad has done an excellent job himself of squeezing ET out of that Challenger over the years. He has been on an extended hiatus but I am sure when he does get it back out it will run well and he will document all he has done as he did in the past. Us OG's gotta stick together biggrin
