Yeah, and a 9 second bracket car was the fastest thing there.

Yeah, it's relative to your location. I used the term mineshaft to mean negative DA, since I see people posting about personal bests and "world records" in some pretty deep negative ranges.

DA was 200 to 250, so that was way better than 3000+ I've seen in the summer. This car will be in low-to-mid 12s when the heat & humidity roll in.

More stuff later...

Elevation @ Capitol is 120ft. Mason Dixon 540 ft and Cecil is 341 ft. For a little perspective.

6) 2:01 PM
RT .067
60 1.717
1/8 7.591 @ 91.09
1/4 11.923 @ 114.27
Notes: 18.0 psi rear; big burnout; solid launch

7) 2:10 PM

Also, going by all the other Challenger 1320 ET slips I've seen posted over the last couple of years, all these numbers seem right in the ballpark. Dodge advertised 11.7 at 115 when the 1320 came out in 2019, but I'm 99% sure that was a number from a car that had the passenger & rear seat delete options, which is 110+ lbs less. All the "hero runs" I see posted have cars w/ at most a 1/4 tank of fuel and anything that can be yanked out pulled to save weight.

Footbrake launch from 1500 RPM.

Shift RPM is whatever the car is programmed to do when shifting by itself in Drag Mode. I saw it swing a bit past the 6K mark, so probably about 6200.

OEM fitment Nexen (Korean) 275/40R20 "Drag Spec"

They're not as soft as the M/T ET Street S/S, but probably last longer. However, all the 20-inch DRs are cursed with extremely short sidewalls. A lot of people change to 18" or 17" wheels to run tires that have taller sidewalls and improve consistency.

EDIT: Found this pic on the track's FB site. That's the last "good" run we made (11.92) and there was a really sweet A-body fastback Barracuda in the other lane. I don't know if they're someone who also posts on Moparts, though.

Right after I got my SRT in 15 I talked with a guy who had a Scat Pac 392 who was racing it, ran 11.8 with some type of drag radial and a hell cat air box. Nothing else added. Mine ran 13.1-105 mph spinning for 3 seconds on the starting line (like grease) before letting up then easing it out. Any 392 can run 11s in these 4000+ pound cars with a tire that hooks.

That's what I'm seeing, too. A 1320 is just a Scat Pack 392 with some drag-focused options. Works for me.
