Hi to all here,
Doing a Hellcat swap at the moment redoing eveyrting on my 72 Challenger so got out the older engine and installing a Hellcat. Using TTI headers and their mounts which needs (my guess) me to use a oil flilter block off plate and go to a remote setuop using the plugs above the filter to install the lines to the remote filter. But where could I put the engines oil sensor for the ecu and what about the 'old style' sensors for the dash gauge? cant seem to find it online somehow so thought to ask here.
Thanks for any help!

if running a remote filter you would have plenty of opportunity to plumb in both sensors, right? Not sure if I'm missing something.

I completed my hellcat swap in my 1970 GTX this past spring and couldnt be happier with the car. For mine, I used TTI headers and their mounts with the stock K member. I used the 45 degree adapter for the oil filter. I had to use it or go remote for fitment. If your using the stock gauges, you can adapt the factory sensors with fittings to the block. The engine itself has a separate oil pressure sensor for the ecu that it reads. In my case I have a Dakota Digital Dash, and they have a module that uses the factory readings off the ECU to power the gauges. If you havent already, PLEASE , remove your K member , make a dolly for it, and assemble everything for fitment on it before you install the engine, and install everything from the bottom. You will be sorry if you dont fit everything first. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the input guys! Will take care of it.
Thought a 45 degree adapter didnt fit with TTI mounts as there is not much space between it but looks like there is enough so will try that, then I can use the plugs above on the side / front for the sensors. Have installed the engine from above, peace of cake I have to say, just dropped it on the kmember and added the T56 later on. Wiring is mostly done but takes lot of time in total as I'm doing the whole car, from paint to brakes to interior.
Thanks again, Hans

On my 45 degree adapter, I did have to trim the drip rail about an inch or so, not sure how an e body would be. I had a lot of little fitment issues with my headers, power steering ( borgeson) and starter, that would of been a nightmare if i had the engine in first. BTW, if you are using the MP hellcrate controller kit, make sure all your sensors are from a 2015-2017 engine. Ive seen a few people use a 2018 engine and up, and not change out the sensors and have issues, mainly the MAP sensors, they are different, Good luck.

I was just at Garlits car show this weekend and had long conversation with a guy who had his 72 Challenger with Hellcat motor there. He used the Bouchillion 90 deg adapter with TTI mounts and headers, stock K-frame and power steering pumo . It all fit with no issues. Makes me wish I hadn't just dropped $900 for the Borgeson gear. https://www.bouchillonperformance.com/inc/sdetail/10629/20785

I have to go look at my car, but i dont think this 90 degree will work with spool mounts, just tossing this out there.
Thank you Kiddart

I have both the Schumacher mounts (bought awhile back) and the Holley mounts. Would really like to use the Schumacher parts, very good looking pieces, really would like to not have to use the crappy rubber biscuits.
