Well i finally got my fuel cell in my car. I think it looks kind of looks like crap. But i cant fab to save my life. So it will have to do i guess. I used a sheet of 1/8 aluminum and pop riveted it to my trunk floor.I still have to figure out something to cover up the little hole in front of the fuel cell wear the fuel lines come out.If i put the fuel cell all the way flush with the hole i cut. You can almost not get a fuel line on the cell fittings. Here is a pick of the cell. good or bad tell me what you think. thanks Mopar65

Bobby. it looks OK to me. You saw what my new POS looks like at MoKan. Good job! Like Bob Glidden once said"These cars don't have to look pretty. Just run fast."

Here is how i ended up mounting my fuel pump. I tried taking a pick but my camera battery died on me so this is the only good one i have right now. But I have a concern about wear i mounted my fuel pump. going by my crappy picture do you see a problem of the rear leaf spring shackle hitting my fuel line if my car ever lunches real hard? I just stuck a short piece of hose on there to see how it would look and have not mounted it sold yet.thanks for all the help guys. mopar65

You could use the material that you cut out and make a box to cover it. It doesn't need to be covered.

A couple things you might consider is moving the pump to the side of the frame, thats how mine is and it worked out well. The other is that you should have a filter mounted before the pump. Mount the filter on the frame also. #8an braided line will work fine. A filter isn't cheep but it's cheeper than a pump or carb needle and seats.

HI thanks for the advice. Do you have a pick of how you mounted your pump? also if you look real hard past my fuel pump you will see that i have a fuel filter also. But it is hard to see. I will be using dash 8 lines and fittings compared to my 65 plymouth this dart does not have have a hole lot of room to mount stuff back there. If i did not have leef springs i would have tons of room. Thanks Mopar65

Nope, no pic's , hows your filter mounted ? [ can't see it ] in line or bracket mount? Mine had leafs when i first installed them, 90 out of the cell to the inside frame a short bend to a bracket mounted spin on type filter then a short 6"-8" to the holley blue pump.

I've just redone mine, i dropped the tapered part of the cell through the floor and fitted a small angle in front to cover any daylight that was showing through.

Bobby can't you just run it along the frame rail, up and over the rear? I guess the angle of the pic makes it hard to really judge where the obstruction may be. Thanks Bobby, the Arrow is coming along, it is a blast to cruise, cant wait to get some slicks and really see what it will do.
