Is anyone out there running a Radiator and Fan combo for an A-body that clears the meziere pump with a small block? My current setup has worked for a long time but I would like tp upgrade it. I see lots of people make a radiator and electric fan combo but some I see either have cheap fans, or the dimensions won't clear the Meziere pump. Kind of looking for a bolt in deal before Drag Week. Thanks for any info.
I have looked at Becool(which might work but to expensive), I have an email into cold case radiator, and one or two others I can't remember. I can look at the Champion setup and tell that it won't clear the pump.
Its an unlikely find this close to drag week but worth an ask. I am worried about reliability of my current hacked up Dodge Intrepid fans more than I am over heating.

The Chevrolet SSR fan and shroud package is about the narrowest I could find , and it fits the core nicely. But I am using a remote pump and shoving water into the center core plugs , so the pump isn't hanging off the front of the motor. If you have 4" from pump to radiator , it will be close to right. I seem to recall it being 3 5/8 " thick.

I run one of these fan setups, with a universal northern/summit radiator. I run chevrolet style with passenger lower/drivers upper, but I'd consider a double pass if you can run both on the passenger side. https://www.universalpartsinc.com/shopping/productDetails.aspx?i=750831&c=10328

I will be tackling this problem soon , it will have to be a 1 off custom piece it appears to fit it in nicely ( that Meziere snout is long )

I used a Champion crossflow radiator and shroud for a early big block Camaro. Also you can pick up about 3/4" by milling the recess off the timing cover and and not using the Meziere block off plate.

That looks really good, my Dad and I were just talking about the timing cover modification this morning. I don't have time to rework much stuff before Drag Week so I ordered a Delta Pag 18" 4000CFM fan. Its only 2.1" thick at the edge and 2.7" in the middle. Not the cheapest option but I have wanted one for awhile because I can control its speed with my Megasquirt.

Cutting it close with the fan coming in last night. Its in and working but wired ugly due to time. Haven't driven the car yet but I can't imagine this not being better than what I had. It moves some air! 4000CFM and its not even that loud. The fan controller they offer is nice but I will probably move it to being controlled by my EFI to clear up some mess once drag week is over.
