how would one of these work on a dual fan setup from a 2012 chrysler 300 ? as compared to a derale PWM controler used on the above fan ? My controller only works with the Mercedes fan (or possibly some BMW ones too ). The MB fan has four wires going to it; two large ones for power and ground, and two small signal wires. Most other fan controllers can work with fans that only have the two large power wires, by interrupting the power going through the fan. The MB fan has an onboard computer that takes the PWM signal from my controller, and uses that to control the fan speed. It looks like the dual fan from the 300 only has two power wires to each fan, so it will not work with my controller.

This is the controller you need. I bought a 125amp unit. And he has higher ones.
Look at the feedback on the best ones that Summit sells. A lot of failures.
I also have one of howisits (member here) controller for my Mercedes fan and it works great. It’s probably 8 years old, one of his first ones.

Basically, if the plug looks like this, it will work. There's an 850w fan I know works that I can try to find the part number for. http://ma-uav.com/images/Fan%20Plug%20and%20harness%202.jpgI had come across some other model that did not use that plug, but had two large power wires, and two small signal wires, and would probably work as well.

It's nice to see this is still going strong.
