Hemi_Joel OP master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 7,480 Minnesota	Hi, I wrecked my little hydraulic, squeeze it in the vise, valve spring tester today. I think it's time to step up to a nice benchtop unit. Criteria would be: readily available, accurate, reliable, easy to use. Does anyone have a recommendation, and which ones should I stay away from? However I can only test seat pressure with it. It does not seem to have enough travel to get to open pressure. I can't remember the brand but W8/W9 Head Guru Brett Miller uses this one and it looks killer.

Intercomp digital when my old Rimacs 1000 lb. tester broke several years ago, I don't like the digital dial calipers on it for measuring travel due to the cheesy mounting of it so I'm going to add a 0 to 1.0 standard dial indicator like the Rimacs have I don't remember the price of it or who I bought it from Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

It’s held down by four 3/8 bolts to my workbench and is one of those tools that will never leave my shop.
