Electronic regulators began to be equipped on some late big Chryslers/Imperials. As far I know these regulators were with 3 terminals ( dunno whyc ), so I find hard to think on 70 models some cars still were able to get mech regulators? Dunno.

factory voltage regulator mounting holes for older regulator, not factory drilled for newer style, i would have to drill holes into firewall to mount newer style

Something seems questionable here.....by 10/69 they were 3 full months into the 70 production year.....having a 69 and earlier voltage regulator bolt pattern on your firewall is very suspicious.

His car originally had this mount.
