East coast mini. To be honest if I did it again Id put the alternator below the vacuum pump. Then run a larger alternator.

I take it when you put it in the car you hooked the vacuum pump up to the suction side?

Yeah we corrected that.... good eye!

Alt is bolted to the plate. Wish I had a better pict of the bracket. Only part that gets swapped between our two engines.

Yes, it has a DMI low mount kit on it, just hadn't put it back on it yet when that pic was taken. Didn't even realize that, lol.

My plate ties the front rollbar struts AND the lower frame rails. I have the Indy rev adapter plate and a SBC waterpump (which I'd do differently and just use a remote pump on the radiator)

16 years ago........Vince Impasato and Chuck Millen from Best Machine in Michigan when I flew in on dyno day. The motor plate was definitely a beefy piece.

No mid plate with mine. but it does have struts on the trans to control fore/aft movement.

Then kick the plate upward from it's mounting source on the block. If you can see well in my fuzzy pic that's what i did to gain material and again it ties to the upper cage struts.

No mid plate here either.... but my fore/aft link is off my front frame to the block. Doug utilized one of the trans mounts I use as a shift cable mount on his set up smile
