Anyone have experience with the Magnafuel 275 pump, thinking of upgrading my fuel system.

Thanks

I used one on my Duster with the #10 feed to the pump,#8 bypass and #8 line to the four port BG regulator at the front of the motor feeding a six pak. The car ran a best of 10:34 at 128.6 MPH, I later found out it was runing out of fuel according to my Innovate LM1, it was reading correctly. I replaced that one with a Magnafuel 300 and I now wish that I had bought the Magnafuel 500 pump to start with The motor started out as a 512 C.I. low deck stroker motor with ported 906 heads and 9.25 to 1 compression ratio, that combination made 612 HP at 5500 RPM and 544 ft. lbs at 4500 rpm. I have since switch heads to a set of Eddy RPM CNC ported heads and added .050 stroke to raise the compression ratio up to 10.29 to 1, this combination has made 718 HP at 5800 RPM and 740 Ft lbs at 4800 RPM so far Magnafuel told me that thier 275 pump was good to 750 HP, maybe standing still on a engine dyno but not in my car, buy the best one now and avoid replacing it later when you hop the car up some more

no need in having to worry about upgrading the pump later on

Ran one 9 years in my Valiant 446 ci with Indy-1 heads. Ran best of 10.16 & 132 mph. Had to replace seals once 2 years ago. No issues besides that. Upgraded to 499 ci last yr. but haven't ran a 1/4 yet with it. Only a few passes in the 1/8 late last year for shakedown. Will be curious if I have issues with fresh 499.

I think they are good for 750HP, I have one with a filter on my Coronet 600HP, never have had a problem in three years. Dennis
