Goof off works well with a razor blade.
It really doesn't matter whether you win or lose… as long as you look good doing it!

Whatever carb / brake cleaner ya got laying around should do it. Spray it on, let it soak, scrap it off, revisit with cleaner on a rag as needed. Not sure I ever used it for window tint but it works for inspection stickers, those big nasty "tow me away" stickers, rear view mirror adhesive......

A razor blade is the best in such cases, and a simple windows cleaning solution afterward. It should help. This is one of the reasons I don’t like tinting – it’s not easily removable and doesn’t look that good when damaged. That’s why I prefer using magnetic fabric sunshades with extensive UV protection in my car. These are easily removable and protect the insides of the vehicle from sun radiation well. The area where I live is rather gloomy, and sometimes, I want more light in my car. Tinting would make it difficult for me to drive on days that are already too dark to see well.
