when i back halved my car i used the Comp Eng budget coil over kit. it's worked well getting me down to 9.6 but i need to upgrade. Comp Eng also do a 12 pt adjustable rear coil over shock that might be my next step up. anybody use them? do you use the same spring on these or do they have a different spring? bit lost trying to find the right info.

ok so whats wrong with them? their el cheapo 3 way adjustables worked ok for what they were, i'm just wanting to fine tune the car & get it weighed. the 3 way shock kit is too basic to fine tune the weight so i'm looking to find something more adjustable but not mega buck!

I don't consider going from a single adjustable shock to another single adjustable shock with more settings an upgrade...
If you want to fine tune...Double adjustable shocks would be a better choice than a single adjustable shock.

Good shocks don't come cheap but you will definitely tell the difference the second you leave the starting line.

Not junk...But at that point the Strange and Chassisworks Vari-shocks are only a little more....I would still suggest double adjustable over single adj with whatever shock you decide to go with...

What is the absolute best bang for the buck cheap coil over shock out there right now, w/o going to a CE? I know what's best but I need to buy something soon just to get the car done, no money for the best stuff right now.
