My quarter window has come loose and can rock front to back. When you roll up the window it pushes forward and contacts the front window. Does anyone know how these are attached to the lift mechanism and how I could reattach it? I should add it's a 70 challenger.

I am getting ready to work on my cuda quarter windows which are probably similar to the challenger windows. I have a couple extra windows and I was looking at them yesterday and the glass appears to be pinched between the aluminum with a gasket and rivets are used to pinch the glass and gasket. Maybe your rivets have worked loose? If not you could probably use some type of glue like epoxy or even construction adhesive and leave it at that. Do you have the window removed?

Funny you bring this up at this time. My car was doing the same thing so I just pulled the panel last night and discovered that the bolt holding the track at the top had fallen out. The way the glass is held in seems to be loose/ wobbly (technical terms), but I think that is normal. So in my case the connection of the window to the frame wasn't the issue it was the track connection to the body. Take the panel off and check it out. Let me know if you have any questions and i will certainly share anything I may know.
