Don't forget the front end, achieving over 5 inches of upward travel had the most effect on my set up. PS. As far as I'm aware (on our combo anyway) the rancho shocks only adjust extention damping. The higher the number means less rear rise. On our combo to get more squat we loosen the front extention which = more/earlier weight transfer. IMHO the front end is at least just as important as the rear on a Caltrac set up. If you can get it, the rear end likes to sit low. HTH's PPS I've remembered that a stiff sidewall or radial slick works well too. If I remeber rightly a member on here made big improvements going from a bias slick to a drag radial. Those bars can hit hard. Have fun
