He does not, he is a figment of your imagination. When you bringing that big black and red machine down this way?

My car does OK on a .400 tree. New trans and converter have made it better. Ran .400 tree a at a heads up deal last fall and did just fine. Is there more info somewhere about this race? What is the elevation at that track and what is the typical DA that time of year?

What about the track in Medford?

.......Al, the track in Medford is Champion Raceway, they do have a Lucas Oil Race September 24-25-26, and they do run S/Pro, and Pro et at that race, nice track, 1300 foot elevation, DA around 2500' long uphill shutdown. the race is fairly well attended, lots of Nev and Calif. cars in addition to the Div 6 cars, close to Div 7, for the out of Division points, and the last points race for the year, all adds up to a great race to go too. .....you can find out more from their website. Would enjoy seein ya there, and if I do, will stop by and say hello.....

It's too bad the Summer Fest event isn't one week later. We plan on racing up there the second weekend in Aug. After that, we'll be heading to Boise for the Nightfire Nationals. Then spend the next two days driving home. Bucky Austin has done a wonderful job with the track so far!

Scott where is your shop located? I lived in Spokane for 8 years (moved away in 07). I used a shop over in Post Falls (probably know who, i worked next door also) and by their own admission aren't Mopar guys.
They did nice work on my heads, balancing, and machining, but would be nice to have a mopar guy to use if need be.
My kids are still there so I am back quite often. I heard the rumblings of the track and some of us crazy canucks are going to be lurking around there.

We aren't hard core racers, but love to bracket race and drink beer. Would like to pop in for a visit and shoot the s#*t.

Glad to see this coming together for once. Track closing news gets tiring after a while.
