I am wondering if there is a "recipe" for a 512 (400 block) . I want to drop my block off but want parts lined up to get the machining done properly. Thanks for the help

What rods would be best for street?
I was looking at Eagle but they don't list a 6.535 rod for Mopar

Well, there's the easy way--- http://store.440source.com/Stroker-Kits/products/3/Or you can pick your own parts from different manufacturers, if you'd rather go that route, and have a little more control over it. I'm more comfortable with the second method. What rods would be best for street?

Is there a brand preference for rods? Eagle, Oliver, SCAT? or are they pretty much all good
What manufacturers are used in the 440 Source kit? I dont see them listed

Well Oliver is in a different league. Price wise WAY different league but Scat, Eagle Molnar and others can all be used. I try to keep the rods and cranks from the same vendor just to make sure the width of the rods matches the journal. Todd Oliver is not what it used to be according to a couple people I trust. The price has held up better than the quality standards. Molnar kits are pretty nice......you still need to source pistons , but they are available from quality manufacturers.

Molnar crankshaft with 4.250 stroke with BB Chevy rod journal size, 6.700 long BB Chevy type rods and have him get you the pistons also 1-616-940-4640. ask for Tom and tell him I recommend them. Cab
