Whats the best way to bypass the ballast resistor using a factory harness in a 72 E-body without making it look like a hack job ? Thanks

This is a single ballast that I did

Scraping out the ceramic to expose the resistor took the longest

Your factory 1972 probably has the dual ballast resistor

But either way if you want to keep the factory look and everything original

It does have a dual ballast, I'm not so concerned with keeping it looking stock, it's a new harness and want do it neatly as possible . Thanks

I've got a 73 Cuda with the dual element. I bought a spare resistor online for $7 and carved it out for the jumper as shown when I went with the FBO module. You can't tell with it installed and I still have the original if I ever need to swap in the OEM controller as a backup. Probably can get one cheaper at a swap meet or junkyard but I was pressed for time.
