Hey all,
I am wondering which brand oil filter are people feeling is the best right now? Also who runs synthetic oil with Zddp additive?
Thanks!

I am still using Napa gold. At one time they were proven to be very good, although that proof may be out of date...

Pick your brand and buy several at one time. Hastings and Wix have good reputations.

The last comprehensive study I read on oil filters, which was recent, had Amsoil, K&N, and Mobil1 as the top overall Oil Filters.
Facts are stubborn things.

For the people that only put a couple hundred miles per year, does it really matter? Save your money and buy whatever is on sale................. Why wouldn’t it matter? Do you think they all perform the same until they’ve been on the job for a long time? I don’t.

Only inexpensive filter I would consider is a Motorcraft FL-1A. It is made by Purolator, fits our stuff and is a respectable filter for a low end price.
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Fram carries the good filter price but is just a piece of crap. Frams should be priced at 99 cents for how their constructed.

Jomat 100% no-bypass oil filters are the only ones I use on my Mopar engines.
