CFE Racing as in Carl Foltz in Eastpoint Michigan? I see its a 586 area code. Well if that's Carl's block, you can bet its a great piece. I totally agree. They do all of Prostocks billet intakes. I spoke to Carl last year. What a knowledgeable guy and easy to talk to.

I wonder if some Predator heads are going on top of it, for a Black Dart?
Noonan did a water jacketed Hemi block last year for Drag Week

but then you need heads for them
and a crank, and a cam, and an intake manifold, and a pan (and motor mounts, a driveshaft?). IMHO this is only practical when you've reached a point of development where more inches is better use of money than the existing available parts. Makes boost look cheap, don't it?

Welding allows internal construction that cannot be cast

A thousand here..........a thousand there. Pretty soon , you're talking real money. But yeah.........I saw an 807 " Billet everything in a carbon fiber '71 Mustang at Houston Motorsports park last summer and I haven't been the same since. Bickel built , four stages of spray.......it was literally more car than they had track for.

How is boost cheap when it quickly can push well beyond what a stock block can handle?Anything in a Mopar block other than a Hemi that is over 700hp is pretty much on borrowed time. Strokers with good heads already hit 700hp easily....So adding boost is like burning the wick at both ends...These are the kinds of blocks you need for boost.

I wonder if some Predator heads are going on top of it, for a Black Dart? No. I saw his new water block a few weeks ago.

It’s a billet block. No casting. Welding is easier than the alternative which would be bolt on sealed covers. I like the china wall placement. Easy to prevent valvetrane parts from migrating into the spinny part of the engine. Also like the dual pattern bell. Nice, I bet it isn’t all that more expensive than a new priced KB.
