HOT IN AZ OP member H Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 127 Az	I'm trying to get the components to hook up a rpm activated switch to retard my timing on a naturally aspirated 340.I talked to MSD and they suggested a 8987 which I don't see any rpm activation. I think what I need is a 8950 switch with a 8676 retard but I'm not sure if they are compatible. May need to talk with them some more. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

HR3128 mopar H Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 430 Michigan	Check out MSD 8970 - 3 step timing retard. with 8950 RPM switch. https://www.jegs.com/InstallationInstructions/100/121/121-8970.pdf Figure 11 on page 6 shows rpm switch connection to the 8970.

My condition is fully BLOWN!!
