Just took out all my glass and went to lexane. All came out good But a little concerned about the front windshield. I opted to bolt it in and remove the rubber and molding with the kit supplied And seems pretty solid but thinking at 140 it might push a little hard. What is everyone's Thoughts on bracing the center? If yes you have any pics? Thanks in advance π
"Update"
First run off the trailer and it rattled pretty good, was a little concerned it might come on on me but was good when I got back down to under 100. Made a little center brace from 3/4" flatstock aluminum and wrapped in J Waxler's secret Tape, screwed it into the roof and didn't even notice it after that.π

3/16 wont need the brace EDIT If you use screws to screw it in you will be fine and it wont flex much at all.. I run 1/8" on my car at 152 mph

How thick is the lexan? Here is a pic of the 2 supports on my windshield. Metal rod with clear vinyl tube sliced and slid over support rod. You can't see them very much.

3/16 ... brace it !! It may not end up in your lap BUT if it flexes in its causing more drag than in its intended position. Good point!

I also would brace it, a tire(?) piece from another car at 140mph will put the whole thing in your lap, because lexan is not likely break, and that would hurt.
Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

The Cuda was 3/16 from Proglass in the stock gasket with the stock trim and went 171 with no brace and no problems.
