on the high amp headlights you might relay it directly to the alt, good plan for heater/AC. No thoughts on the others

Anyone have suggestions on switches other than OE to replace headlamp, wiper, and dome switches for ‘73 barracuda ? I AM NOT DOING A RESTORATION. I just need function. Thanks Jim I know you are an advertiser and I looked through your online store and the site's vendor sponsors before I posted this only to find they are all expensive. I'm not saying I won't pay for what it takes to get the OE-style switches if that's what I have to do.

It really is that simple (and so are the electronics on these old cars).

I took a look at some of your posts and seeing as how your car was hacked up for drag racing, I think you should be looking at two options. One, you can try to find a whole dash assembly with the harness and cluster. Since you are looking for a 73 it might not cost as much as you may think, esp if it's a standard cluster. The other option would be to work with what you have and use a universal harness with aftermarket switches and gauges.

I was able to get a cluster but none of the gauges worked so I installed modern gauges in their place. However, the cluster did not have headlamp, wiper or panel switches. I’m just looking for alternatives. I don’t want to cut anymore than I have to.

Thanks Not trying to be a jack-A$$, but toggle switches from the hard ware store fits this description. You could get it working for now and look for the proper switches later.
I have mechanical Aptitude. I can screw up anything.

no idea why that picture is upside down Cell phone pic. It seems that the orientation is almost always wrong and stays with the pic no matter what you do.

Not sure how you would rig up one of those, pretty different from stock. For reference: 3420865 dimmer switch 2947305 headlamp switch 3621666 2 spd wiper 3621670 3 spd wiper
