Are your current valve covers original max wedge or not?
If not then you may need to do the mods already posted to get the adjusters to clear the stock baffles in the OEM valve covers for stock stamp steel rockers scope
As far as finding a good quality set of rocker arms to CLEAR stock covers probably no such thing out there shruggy
When I first started racing, hot rodding and building Mopar V8 back in the early 1960 most people used adjustable pushrods for making a motor with solid lifters that didn't come with adjustable rocker arms work
They are a pain to use and adjust though whiney work

They are AMD application for max wedge. I have heard about reaming holes out in the baffles and did not know if that was done just for the ductal iron rockers. I have found crane cam ductal units at summit did not know if they would fit.

The OE type adjustable iron rockers in the ad above or Comp "pro magnum" investment cast alloy steel are probably as compact as anything out there. Both good solid rockers.

And for what it's worth, the original Chrysler adjustable rockers are no a true 1.5 ratio.

The adjuster is what contacts the VC baffle on some rockers. The shorter and compact the adjuster, the better your chances of not having to modify the VC. Obviously, cam lift plays a role too.

You can double up on the super thick mopar vc gaskets - the ones that come with their aluminum covers.

I used the spacers from Medice on my 340 for two reasons. I needed the space and I was having oil leaks using my stock valve covers. These spacers took care of both issues.

Not cheap, but then again not cheaply made. Quality costs.

The original max wedge valve covers, both the 4 and 6 bolt versions, fit most every adjustable rocker arm out there with no hitting up
