Hi all,

I'm looking at boot protectors on the Summit website, and am wondering what the significance of "90 degree" is?

How are the 90-degree sleeves different from the others? My Firecore plug boots aren't 90-degrees, but they're not straight either (see pic below). I'm looking for something that will slide over my boots, and protect them from my headers.

Thinking about buying these: Taylor 2418

A note says; "Designed for 90 degree spark plug boots or most pre-assembled wires".

All opinions welcome, thanks!

Roger

That may be a typo, I've used that type on various angled boots with good results.
They're soft enough to conform to all IMO

those sleeves will probably be flexable enough to go over the 45 degree boot in your picture up
I use a different brand, maybe they are Taylors but not colored, and they seem to help some up

You may be able to find something like what you've pictured in a ceramic boot. That's all I use when header clearance is an issue. They go on sale every now and then and can be had relatively reasonably, but they can also be expensive.
